Below Zero Ice Driving uses a variety of specially prepared, rally equipped Porsche 911s. Most have a powerful 3.0-litre flat six engine producing over 300 bhp, a close-ratio competition gearbox, Bilstein gravel suspension dampers, a full specification FIA integral roll cage and those iconic Porsche Fuchs wheels with fully studded competition tyres.
These cars have been professionally built by Tuthill Porsche to withstand the world’s most challenging driving environments. With reinforced bodies, competition wiring looms and engine bay mounted oil tanks they are, by far, the most suited vehicle for this type of driving experience. Below Zero Ice Driving is proud to be the only ice driving operator to exclusively use competition cars.
Our instructors are of the highest calibre and have included World Championship drivers such as Martin Rowe (former Production Car World Rally Champion), Patrik Sandell (former JWRC Champion and current WRC driver for Team Sweden), Andreas Mikkelsen (current IRC Champion) and Chris Atkinson (WRC driver for Team Mini Portugal).
All have many years of experience driving on all surfaces, particularly ice. What the Below Zero Ice Driving instructors can’t teach you isn’t worth knowing! Email the Below Zero Ice Driving team to enquire about our 2017 season at firstname.lastname@example.org.
